Slow fashion We choose to work non-seasonal and only produce our bags in small quantities. We want to offer a handcrafted, good quality item, at a fair price. We feel that it’s very important and necessary for everybody to take responsibility towards a sustainable future and think about what you buy, how much you buy, where it comes from and how it’s been made. Working ethically is something that is on the top of our minds. We started out making all the bags in our own atelier in Antwerp; on a made to order basis. This way, we only made what was necessary and we didn't have any leftover stock. Every now and then, we still make custom items in our atelier. It's something we love to do, because it makes the whole process so much more personal and unique. Because the brand was growing we needed to outsource the main part of our production. We've teamed up with a small, family-run, leather workshop in Barcelona, Spain that we met through our leather supplier. They now manufacture all the bags in our core collection. This means that every single one of our bags is handcrafted in a small scale atelier, under good working conditions. We chose to settle our production in Spain, because they have a rich history in leather craft. The leather we use for our bags is also sourced in Spain or Italy. We don’t want any of our leather and other materials to go to waste. We try to be very conscious about this and only buy and use what is necessary.
